The research library and archives are located in the Log Cabin adjacent to the Burrows House Museum. The research library and archives are open by appointment only. Contact: collections@oregoncoasthistory.org.
The library houses thousands of photographs, documents, maps, and records pertaining to local and regional topics. Some fees apply.
The library provides the following services:
• Research assistance on the history of the Central Oregon Coast
• Photographic reproduction
• Photocopying of records, maps and photographs subject to the
condition of the materials
• Referral service to other repositories
The Log Cabin was formerly one of the Society’s museums. It was renovated and re-purposed to a spacious public research library and archive storage facility in 2014. The library was formerly located in the Burrows House Museum. Demand for research assistance and a growing collection of photographs and research materials necessitated a larger space.
