Join the Lincoln County Historical Society (LCHS) and the Lincoln County Genealogical Society (LCGS) for the first annual Family Heritage Resource Fair at the Pacific Maritime Heritage Center! The LCGS will feature 1-on-1 ancestor lookups, free online resources, preserving family heritage, local family history authors, and a free drawing for an ancestry DNA kit. The LCHS will give demonstrations on how we preserve history, from microfilm of historic newspapers to preserving that shoebox of photos in your attic. Bring your home movie film reels to have them cleaned and inspected by the North Lincoln County Historical Museum and see some digitized footage of home movies in our county on the big screen in our theater. We will also feature info on all the museums in our county. Come find out more about your family heritage and how to better preserve it for future generations!
